The International Convention Centre in Birmingham is a large conference venue incorporating the Symphony Hall and owned by the NEC Group. The building was opened in June 1991 by the Queen and it is built on the site of the Prince of Wales Theatre and Bingley Hall, the world’s first purpose-built exhibition hall which opened in 1850.
There are ten exhibition halls in total as well as the Symphony Hall. The largest hall, Hall 3, can accommodate up to 3,000 delegates. There are numerous connecting bridges lining the atrium overhead connecting the halls and ten additional meeting rooms.
With all of these halls, there is a space to suit any event, no matter how large or small. The ICC Birmingham has a total capacity of 8,000 delegates.
The ICC Birmingham has an international reputation for hosting high quality, professional exhibitions and events. It has played host to thousands of conferences and exhibitions since it opened, hosting many of the world’s largest organisations.
If you are exhibiting at the ICC Birmingham you will want to make sure your stand is unique and shows off your company to delegates at your event. We can produce a bespoke shell scheme for you to really stand out from the crowd, and even provide exhibition lighting and electrics to really help your stand to look amazing.
Meridian are approved electrical contractors at all these venues.
